ECOACTION SCIENCE CLUB

 

 Ecoaction science club meets every Wednesday during the year and offers students a chance to do as real scientist do.

The club meets with professionals from the scientific community which help us study the plants soil and water at Rockwood Park.

Students get to follow a real scientist and do as they would in their every day job. The club is sponsored by University Of New Brunswick and has presented  its research at international conferences in Saint Louis and Chicago.

INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL NIGHT

 

What a night food, music and culture!!!!!

Each year PES hold a night to celebrate the different cultures in our community.

Come in bring a dish and celebrate .

DRAMA CLUB

 

Each year PES puts on a production in

April to celebrate the acting abilities of the students in our school. Past performances have included The Wizard Of Oz, A Christmas Carol, and The Pink Panther. Many of our students go on to star in  plays and musicals in high school.

 

ANNUAL ANTIQUE SALE

 

Each year students at our school arrange an antique sale to raise money that goes towards the school trip. Antique dealers set up for two days in December and  offers antiques for sale to the public in all price ranges. Great way for students to learn about history as the dealers are more than eager to share their knowledge with them.

WHOO CLUB

 

The Whoo Club is the equivalent of the EcoAction club but for students in elementary. The club meets every Thursday after school to take part in science activities with the help of teachers and quest speakers. Last year club members held a open house where bugs were the quests.
